Light the Wire began as a covid lockdown internet collaboration between long-time friends who knew each other from campfire jams at music festivals in Florida. The current lineup of the band solidified in 2023 after a fateful performance at the beloved artist collective known as the Blueberry Patch in St. Pete. Since then, the band has performed on stages for festivals such as Gasparilla Music Festival, Whippersnap, Sunshine Get Down, and many others. While the band calls Tampa / St. Pete home, they have performed at venues all over Florida from St. Augustine to Bonita Springs and are looking forward to playing their first out of state gigs in 2026.
